Mojave Desert Petroglyphs

My wife Vicki and I went up to Rainbow Basin off Ft. Irwin Rd. west of Barstow lasy weekend. It was incredible, fun to drive, hike, and photograph.

Now, I am curious to visit some petroglyph and pictograph sites within a couple hours of where we live here in Pinon Hills, near Wrightwood.

There seem to be lot of sites out and about around here, but directions are a little harder to come by.

I'll keep searching until I get to visit and photograph these sites in person!
